St Hubertus Winery and Oak Bay Estate Winery

 St Hubertus is a sustainable, organic winery located in the northern Okanagan Valley. Their cold climate red wines are fruity and spicy, and naturally have a higher acidity. They offer a Terroir Tasting Among the Vines to which dogs, as well as humans, are welcome! Bonus, St Hubertus is even located across the street from Cedar Creek dog beach so you can sip and go to the dog beach in one great eventful day!

Burrowing Owl Estate Winery

 Burrowing Owl is located in Oliver, which is in the southern region of the Okanagan. They are named for a species of owl that was believed to be extinct yet, due to conservation efforts which the winery helps to support, now has a robust population! The winery offers spectacular views from its fine dining restaurant, guest house, and wine shop. On leash, well-behaved dogs are welcome to explore the grounds and the wine shop with their owner. You might even be greeted by the resident winery dog, Karma!

Rollingdale Winery 

Rollingdale Winery is a certified organic winery in West Kelowna and is renowned for its white wines, in particular their White Merlot. Rollingdale Winery offers wine tastings at their wine shop, but, more importantly for your dog, they also have an outdoor dog-friendly picnic area. Bring a picnic and your furry friend, then grab a bottle at the wine shop, and enjoy the views of the winery and Lake Okanagan!

Arrowleaf Winery  

Arrowleaf Winery is family-owned and located in beautiful Lake Country, British Columbia. They produce more than a dozen different wines every year and you can sample many of those wines in their Tasting Room. Once you’ve sampled some wine, you can grab an Arrowleaf Winery picnic box and head to the family and dog-friendly picnic area!

Tantalus Winery 

 Tantalus Winery overlooks Lake Okanagan and Kelowna from the eastern slopes of the Okanagan Valley. First planted in 1927, Tantalus is one of the oldest continuously producing vineyards in all of British Columbia. Tantalus offers tastings in its open gallery-style tasting room where on-leash dogs are welcome to join, as well as they can join on the guided vineyard walk!

Ancient Hill Winery

Ancient Hill Winery is a boutique winery that specializes in small lots of delicious wines and is located in the Ellison area of North Kelowna. They are open from March 1 to October 31, which is the perfect time of year to enjoy the panoramic views of the valley from their patio. You can enjoy a bottle of wine, and bring your dog along too, as long as they are on a leash.

CedarCreek Winery 

Located in Kelowna, CedarCreek Winery offers spectacular views of Lake Okanagan and a wide range of delectable wines. You can enjoy the view and a glass of wine at their farmhouse, but they also have lovely outdoor seating areas that you can enjoy with your dog. Dogs must be on a leash, and together you can explore the vineyard itself.

Beaumont Family Estate Winery 

 Beaumont Family Estate is an organic, boutique winery located in West Kelowna in the Okanagan Valley. They offer tastings in their wine shop where reservations are recommended but drop-ins are also welcomed. Dogs are not allowed inside the wine shop but Beaumont does have a special doggy hitching post outside with water provided to quench your dog’s thirst while you quench yours with some wine inside!

 The Hatch Winery

 The Hatch Winery is a funky and creative winery located in West Kelowna that offers a wide selection of wines from various house collections. They also have a charming and open-air indoor/outdoor tasting room and wine shop. They make their dog-loving status known on their Instagram where they declare: “Dogs welcome, and people too”. In fact, many furry friends make appearances on their Instagram account, so make sure to bring your dog along if you’re going to check out the Hatch Winery.
